I Love Presets at the Chicago Underground Film Fest!

My improvised audio/video trio I Love Presets just played the Chicago Underground Film Fest! It was great to play the fest!!!!! We were quite happy with our set. Jon just posted a short clip of our performance on the youtubes

Check it out.

For me, it was particularly awesome to play it as it has been a source of inspiration for me for a long time. So much great weird stuff and great to see/meet the people who make it.

Some stuff that blew me away.

The restored Curtis Harrington shorts. Really really great. Each movie is like a Joy Division song.

Jim Finn's  The Juche Idea - Totally demented and great to see the result of so many of my Troy, NY posse's hard work!

Jennifer Reeder's Accidents at Home and How They Happen. A totally beautiful movie.

Alexander Stewart and Peter Miller's On the Logic of Dubious Historical Accounts, 1969 - 1972

and on and on and on. It also made me realize how much I love shorts.
